The Bride of Frankenstein is a Feminist Icon: Free Book Chapter

It’s International Women’s Day, hurrah! A day that promotes discussion about gender bias in the hopes of making our world a more equal place for all who live in it.

To mark this day, and to get you thinking about the expectations we place on both men and women in society, I’m sharing a free chapter from my book: True Love is Like the Loch Ness Monster (And Other Lessons I Learnt From Film).

Did you know that Elsa Lanchester, the actress who played The Bride, has a historical link to the Suffragette movement? Find out about this and more in my free chapter.

The chapter is entitled: The Bride of Frankenstein is a Feminist Icon and you can access it here.

Please do join in the discussion today. Whether it’s offline or online, get others thinking and talking about this important, worldwide difficulty. Gender biases affect both men and women no matter which country they hail from, and this day is an opportunity to openly discuss how we can minimise this imbalance and its impact.
